Arequipa 5D4N – Colca canyon- Colca valley

In this program we’ll visit the Colca canyon and the Colca valley, as well as places like: Pampa Cañahuas (national reserve of vicuñas), Toqra and Patapampa, the viewpoint of the cross of the condor, the hanging tombs of choquetico, which are of pre Inca origin , the town of Maca and Yanque and the most important tourist places of Arequipa.

GENERAL ITINERARY:

DAY 1: VISIT TO THE CITY

Pick up from the airport or bus terminal – In the afternoon visit to: Chilina, Paucarpata, Huasacache and La Mansion del Fundador, tingo, sachaca – return to Arequipa (tour duration: 3 hours approximately)

DAY 2: AREQUIPA – CHIVAY (FIRST NIGHT IN CHIVAY)

Breakfast – Pick up from the hotel and travel to Chivay – Visit Pampa Cañahuas (Vicuñas reserve) – Vizcachani – Patapampa – arrival to Chivay at 1:00 p.m. – In the afternoon visit to the thermal baths of La Calera (optional) – night in Chivay

DAY 3: CHIVAY – AREQUIPA

Breakfast – Visit to the viewpoint of the cross of the condor (sighting of condors) – return to Arequipa (stop in Choquetico, Antahuilque, tombs and Yanque) – arrival to Chivay at 12:00 approximately – free afternoon – night in Chivay

DAY 4: COLCA VALLEY – AREQUIPA

Visit to the Colca Valley – return to Chivay at 12:00 approximately – Return to Arequipa – night in Arequia

DAY 5: FREE DAY

Breakfast at the hotel – return transfer to the airport or bus terminal.
